Each participant in Salon Souveraineté Numérique (SSN), including exhibitors, authorises QUINZE MAI (a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company with share capital of EUR 3,370,884.00, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 302 382 858, at 88 Bd de la Villette, 75019 Paris, hereinafter “QUINZE MAI”), its partners and assignees:

  • To record their image and/or voice for reproduction and use in photographs, film, videotape or any other medium, for audio, audiovisual or visual reproduction and use (hereinafter the “Recordings”).
  • To broadcast their image and/or voice and to use the Recordings, or transfer the right to use them to a third party, in any media worldwide, in French or any other language, without restriction or limitation, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, including the promotion of QUINZE MAI, on one or more occasions.

Each participant further acknowledges that QUINZE MAI holds and will hold all copyright in the above Recordings for a maximum period of three years.

In particular, each participant expressly agrees that:

  • The images may be cut, edited and combined as required for technical and artistic reasons, in accordance with professional practice.
  • QUINZE MAI’s trademarks and distinctive signs, or those of any other sponsor accredited by QUINZE MAI, may be displayed on screen during broadcasts, and the participant accordingly waives any claim on this basis.
  • The Recordings may, in particular, be broadcast repeatedly by QUINZE MAI, its partners and assignees.
  • The Recordings may, in particular, be used through digital and telephone channels and published online worldwide on QUINZE MAI’s website and the SSN website, or on the websites of its partners and assignees.

Each participant is fully informed and expressly agrees that:

  • “Repeated broadcasting” means that QUINZE MAI may broadcast the Recordings one or more times by any free-to-air or encrypted broadcasting means (terrestrial, cable, satellite, etc.).
  • The repeatedly broadcast Recordings may be rebroadcast simultaneously and/or on a delayed basis, in full, within satellite television services and/or by distributors chosen by QUINZE MAI, or by any other French or foreign television channel, and communicated to the public.
  • This authorisation covers the reproduction and public display of the images and sounds of the participant in the Recordings, together or separately, in whole or in part, on any medium and for the uses defined above, without any obligation to broadcast them.

Each participant warrants QUINZE MAI’s undisturbed exercise of the rights assigned and licensed.

This authorisation is granted to QUINZE MAI free of charge for the uses defined above, whether carried out directly by QUINZE MAI or indirectly by any third party it authorises. Accordingly, each participant waives any claim against QUINZE MAI, the broadcaster and/or the sponsor of the Recordings for any payment, remuneration or compensation for their participation in the Recordings.
